Keleketla Library Collaboration (2019)
Finally got to work on the ground and in Chicago with Malose Malahlela and his vision for the 2019 Chicago Architectural Biennial at the National Public Housing Museum. Stockyard Institute and our radio man Davion Mathews will install and program a radio station at the NPHM to gather and broadcast live interactions from the community and also broadcast readings of historic weight and scale. Jeff Kowalkowski, our long time musical collaborator, composer, brought his band, Angela Lowe to perform opera and Anabel Watson to tap dance. Thanks to Sabrina Huchthausen and our photographer, Ian Duignan The sounds will also be transmitted to the Chicago Cultural Center for a larger public audience and access to the world.
